Reviewing our lives

Let us try for a moment to stop and imagine sitting in front of a video that conveys our lives and that continues beyond the present. 

Of course we would be tempted to press forward, to see the future, but in spite of curiosity, we would be afraid to know before what can we expect in the future life. 

So I think that each of us prefers to focus on the past, reviewing the most interesting parts of our lives and be happy. 

The moment of birth, with the mother who embraces us and we cuddle and dad that lifts us up and smiles. 

We would spend to cover all the beautiful moments, continuing to pause and instead would bring forward every day more sad and more delicate moments. 

Of all the joyful moments we would like to print a summary in our mind and make sure that all of the times that there will still be days of sorrow we can have that tape that helps us to move forward.

Proviamo per un attimo a fermarci e a immaginarci, seduti davanti ad un video che trasmette la nostra vita e che prosegue oltre il presente. 

Naturalmente saremmo tentati di premere avanti, per vedere il futuro, ma nonostante la curiosità, avremmo paura di sapere a priori cosa ci riserverà la vita in futuro.

Quindi penso che ciascuno di noi preferisca concentrarsi sul passato, rivedendo le parti più interessanti e felici della nostra vita. 

Il momento della nascita, con la mamma che ci abbraccia e ci coccola e il papá che ci solleva in alto e sorride. 

Ci fermeremmo a riguardare tutti i momenti belli, continuando a mettere in pausa e invece porteremmo avanti tutti i giorni piú tristi e i momenti piú delicati.

Di tutti i momenti gioiosi vorremmo un riassunto da stampare nella nostra mente e fare in modo che tutte le volte che ci saranno ancora giorni di dispiacere possiamo avere quel nastro che ci aiuta ad andare avanti.
