Won the war, the king returned to his favorite pastime: hunting.
It was during a hunting trip, he rode into the forest, far away from his somewhat later, the king was suddenly surrounded by a gang of robbers, worshipers of the goddess Kali, which they used to offer a human sacrifice every year.
Fate would have it, this time the victim was the king himself, who was chained and taken to the temple.
But the sacrificial victim must be physically perfect and show no impairment of any kind, so when the priest of Kali noticed the wound the king decreed that this was not suitable to be sacrificed and left him free to return to his palace: the wound had saved his life!
The king realized that the minister had been right and he did immediately release and reintegrate into his office.
When the minister was in his presence, the king told him what happened and he added: "My wound was really for the best, because thanks to it have escaped death, but what have you gained you, that you've been locked up in prison?".
The minister replied, "Your Majesty, if I was not in prison, I would have been next to you in the forest, the bandits would have caught me, and also, since my body is intact, they would have sacrificed me to your place".
The king admired the wisdom of his minister and then held him in the highest regard.
