Rating and Respect

Rating and respect
Today I want to borrow an oriental reflections that makes us understand how important the right and true judgment and respect.
A great spiritual master, who had gifts of clairvoyance, so one day ended his lecture:
"The world is not as it should be because there are good and bad, up and down, inside and out.
To believe this is convenient for the man, because to overcome disagreement is still part of its ancient nature. But his new nature does not require more stunts, but small steps. The first among them is what brings him to the Judgment Respect" .
Listened to the invitation, a young man asked the teacher how he could make this first step.
"It should to be in the village of Tay wa goo, and refer back to what we've seen" said the teacher.
The first thing that he saw the man, entered the village, was a man who he drew water from a well with a bucket and throw away the brambles. The second thing I saw was a young woman, hidden among the flowers, smiling at him inviting. The third was a beggar, aggrappatosi his clothes, asked for alms with prayers to tear the soul.
Returned by the teacher, said: [...]

"Where did you send me, I saw three people who have hurt my heart a madman, a prostitute and a saint of God".
"Actually", replied the sage" you have seen an essay, a woman in love and a thief. The man who extracted water from the well and threw away was a wise since the well was poisoned, and the woman does not smiling to you but to her lover, she only saw from afar, and the beggar, while you enchanted with his prayers, with the hand you stole the bag".
The young man realized that the Judgment had obscured the comparison; asked for a new trial and was sent to another village.
To his surprise, he saw the same people who had noticed in the first. And he was happy, when he returned from the master, in saying:
"Thank you, great master, today I was able to rectify my judgment: I saw a sage, a woman in love and a thief".
The teacher was very angry :
"Relying on the judgment of others is supreme folly and has nothing to do with respect. Today you saw a madman, a prostitute and a saint".
Thoughtfully, the young man was sent to visit a third village. As supposed, he saw a man who re- extracted water from a well and throw it through the brambles, a girl who was smiling and inviting a poor man who held out his hand.
"What did you see today?", Asked the teacher on his return.
"Today," the other replied", I saw the water that was thrown through the brambles, a woman smile and a hand stretched out to me".
"Even if you've seen recently, you've at least taken the first small step that leads from the Rating Respect".
